A History of Service

Since 1979, North Texas Food Bank has been dedicated to serving our community by providing access to nutritious food for those in need. Our mission is clear: to end hunger in the communities we serve.

Over the years, we have grown from a small organization with a handful of volunteers to a leading provider of food assistance in the region. Today, we distribute over 46 million pounds of food annually, thanks to the tireless efforts of our staff, volunteers, and partners.

Food Assistance Programs

At North Texas Food Bank, we believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious food. That's why we offer a range of programs designed to provide support to those struggling with hunger.

Our programs include the Mobile Pantry, which brings fresh produce and other essential items directly to underserved communities. We also operate the Senior Food Box program, providing critical assistance to our region's most vulnerable population.
